Video content is KING in the digital space. Danielle Ricks Productions specializes in digital media and digital content production.  A small boutique business made up of a team of co-collaborators, Danielle Ricks Productions is made up of freelancers who provide video and media support for your every need. Services include video blogging, media training, video production, broadcast production, webinars, and podcasting.

In order to be competitive, business owners and organizations need to use video and digital media as part of their marketing, branding, or social media campaign. Whether it’s an Electronic Press Kit (EPK) or a promotional video, digital storytelling has become a key element to online brand marketing.

Below are examples of how you can use digital media to tell your story.

Electronic Press Kits

An Electronic Press Kit (EPK) can tell your personal story or promote a particular marketing campaign. EPKs also offer those who are seeking media coverage a dynamic way to tell your story, introduce yourself to the public and capture the attention of media outlets. They can replace a traditional press release or can be used to accompany one.

The EPK for the speaker, author, and coach extraordinaire, Denise J. Heart was produced by R&R Media works – a joint film and video production partnership between Danielle Ricks Productions and RixStar Studios.

Here is an EPK for the comedian, George Wallace.

Promotional Videos

A crowdfunding campaign will convey a stronger message if you have a video to help share your story. Stop Online Violence Against Women (SOVAW) recently launched their Indiegogo campaign to raise money to out an end to online violence against women and to support the campaign for a safer internet for all. Below is the promotional video I produced for the SOWVA campaign. If you would like to learn more about SOVAW or if you would like to give to the campaign, click here:

Web Series

Web series are finally hitting their stride. A web series is a series of scripted videos, generally in episodic form, released on the Internet or also by mobile or cellular phone, and part of the newly emerging medium called web television. In effort to change the negative perceptions of black women in the media, particularly on television, I came up with the idea of doing the web series Things Black Women Are Tired Of Hearing. Currently in production, this is he second offering from R&R Media.  Here’s a trailer to the upcoming webisode.

Broadcast Television

Executive Producing in the studio
On Set for The Voice

Finally, traditional media is not dead. With over 25 years of broadcasting experience, I know how important targeted television programming is. Of those targeted audiences, one of the fastest growing markets in the U.S. is the baby boomer demographic. As the Executive Producer for The Voice on RL TV, our daily talk show focused on the baby boomers and specifically the retirement age seniors who were still living life to the fullest.

Webinars

Webinar is a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web. It is the single best way to share information across the web with a large group of people. It is a form of real-time collaboration in which multiple computer users, all connected to the Internet, see the same screen at the same time. Below is an example of the many webinars I produced for my client, AmeriCorps VISTA.
